New Bongo Sighting!

Today I saw a video for Perry Farrell's new band, Satellite Party, and the bassist is playing a red Bongo 4. The tune is titled "Wish Upon A Dog Star" and the bassist's name is Carl Restivo. Peter Hook of New Order fame recorded the actual bass line for the album but the Bongo gets a nice close up and looks great.

Carl is a great guy and huge supporter of the Bongo. Bummed I missed them when they came to Coachella...

I just watched this video today and spotted that red Bongo! I came here to post about it but decided to search first... I hadn't seen this thread until now. Great video, and a good chance to see a Bongo in a video if you can take your eyes off Perry's wife long enough....

I was watching GAC and they had a show on Kenny Chesney and the making of the "Flip Flop Summer Tour". Showed it from planning stages all the way through. Steve Marshall Chesney's Bass Player had a very nice 5 String Bongo he was using. He sure has great tone......but it's no wonder........
