New Cutlass Noise Issues

I just purchased a Cutlass SSS in Firemist Silver and I love it so far! However, I'm noticing some odd noise issues that I haven't experienced on any of my previous guitars. This is my first single coil guitar - is this typical for single coils?

Is this expected or should I bring this back in?
