John Myung with a Bongo just looks so right...I saw the tour in Wales - one of the best concerts I've been to. Can't wait to see the DVD.

Just got the DVD. Its killer. I love how raw the footage is. Haven't watched the whole thing yet, just skimmed through some songs. Its awesome that they put Lines in the Sand, Blind Faith, and Surrounded all in one DVD. Those were my 3 favorite live songs of the tour.

Got it last friday but didn't have the time to watch it completely.

I think the footage is awesome despite it is raw every now and then. I have a friend (well not anymore since he hated the dvd :p ) who was complaining about the bad quality of images and sound. And he was complaining about labrie who, according to him, was singing out of key very often.

Well I noticed that there are some mistakes just a few times. But what the hell? I think he (and many others who are probably gonna complain and whine about it) are totally missing the point of this dvd.

DT is at their best on this one. Never have I seen them with such fun and enthousiasm (is that correct?) on stage. Even Myung is walking around stage again (last time I saw that was on the 1994 DVD). And I even think Labrie is on his top of his game. Most songs are sung awesome and his stage presence is better than ever.
I hate those guys whining and bitching about bad quality this, out of key vocals that...It's like the cops waiting for you to drive by with only 1 mph to fast and giving you a speedingticket. They are just waiting for one mistake and then say: "Ha DT sucks!" while in fact they aren't capable of making music themselves. They just don't have a clue of what's happening over there on stage.

Sorry btw if I insulted any cops with this reply

Short answer: Go get it, it rocks! even the bonus features!

I had this release date on my calendar since it was posted online. I did not get to watch more than 3 songs last night, but do wonder why the picture quality is less than previous releases. They are a great band, and I don't care if there are mistakes here and there. I'm not looking for "gothca" moments. With music like theirs, it's bound to happen. But nothing about their enthusiasm would be diminished if it were shot in higher quality.

I'm still glad I have it, encourage other fans to get it, but the picture quality leaves me thinking I may be reaching for "Budokan" more down the road than "Chaos" and that's too bad.

Just my $0.02

watched some of it
the ministry of lost souls perfomance = AMAZING
especially labrie, first time he didn't annoy the **** out of me

and in some parts of the dvd you can see portnoy's spit almost hitting labrie or going behind his back, real funny.

the DVD was out on the 26th in germany allready. i spent a few hours with watching the 2nd DVD at first.
the three CDs are turing since friday in my car´s CD-player.
i love it.
it´s a real live DVD, not like Budokan or Score, with they´re perfect sound and movie quality, the new one is more true-dream-theater-rock.

I've gotta say, watching this makes me realize how much Lines in the Sand ROCKS. I never really listen to FII, so this was really awesome.

I love the "swapped" vocals for "apocalyptic mind debris" in Constant Motion, haha.

The guitar solo spots are amazing. The rawness of the footage is awesome.

I could have done without MP "screaming" during Razor's Edge, though.

I usually associate DT shows with the perfect sound since they're so accurate and technically tight. Raw is not something I associate with this band.

First I gave the CDs a run in my car, and was pleased by what I've heard. But then I put the DVDs in my player...:(

I admire their fun and the sound on this DVD - but honestly, I have a hard time to convince myself the 'you-tube'-like video quality is a good thing and a sign of a "true live recording".

Before this one, there were two different kinds of DT DVD's - the 'for fans and alike' videos like the Romania DVD, and the high quality official stuff "for everyone". Now, I fear, Mike thinks the fans will buy everything anyway (which they will, as I did), and serves us stuff which visually is really a shame compared, especially, to 'score'. If You raise the bar to that level, You can not lower it again.

I'm waiting for the dvd to come out in the stores here in italy.
in the mean while, check out when they played Forsaken here in Padova

[ame=http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=rll6ggk-Y40&feature=related]YouTube - Forsaken (Live In Padova) - Dream Theater[/ame]

what happen was that john started playing "i walk beside you" while jordan played the intro of forsaken, so they got lost, and mike portnoy got mad at them.
LOL!!
