I recorded that before I had the EBMMJP, so I was playing on a squier at the time. I will definetly re-record that with my EBMMJP someday :p

Thanks man.
I tried to do those fast trills with the whammy bar of my squier. I DID work but not that good and the string went out of tune too quickly  .. So I didn't do it in the video. But I'm really going to do another video with my Pet.

Yeah it's Saphire Black (Very dark grey'ish, black).

I really love those Schaller locking tuners. It's so simple, just sticking the string through the holes, lock them and tune them to pitch. (Haven't changed strings on it, but I'm sure it will be that easy :) )

One question, the whammy bar is kinda loose and swings around too much. I know I can tighten it with that "screw" (Allen screw ? ) when you depress the bridge. But is it safe do depress the bridge that much ? I've never depressed the bridge that much, so I'm asking first :) .
And when you untighten the screw, can you take the whammy bar out of it ? Or can it be pulled out without "untightening" the screw (can't thing of any better word :p )

thanks guys (& girls) !

Most excellent guitar you've got there dude. :)

Its safe to depress the bridge. I've done the same adjustment to both my JP's.... can't stand the bar swinging in the breeze. The bar can be pulled straight up to take it out... no need to untighten the screw. Actually there's no need to take the bar out if you're sticking the guitar in the case as the case is recessed. Hope this helps.

Does anyone else find it odd that it has a D-Sonic but not a compensated nut? Didn't the switch to the D-Sonic happen after the move to compensated nuts? Maybe this one was an aftermarket add?

Edit: Ooops...nevermind. It was the angle. Looks like it does have a compensated nut...

Otherwise, it looks just like mine. :D Very nice!!! Congrats!

Awesome guitar and excellent playing, I cannot do that sweep, legato, tap sequence in the middle of that solo to save my life. :(

Welcome to the board!
