I have updated the GC Clearance list. The list is definitely shrinking so I know lots of folks are taking advantage of the great deals...

Guitar Center has marked down a whole bunch of great Music Man pieces to move for their current end of year
clearance event. The following is a list by model and GC location. Instruments are selling pretty fast so if you
see something you like please call the store listed for price and condition. The list can be viewed or downloaded by clicking on this link.

I went to the GC in San Francisco today and the guitars you mentioned were there, but they were not marked as clearance and it seems none of the staff (manager included) knew that they would be.......is there a date when this was to go to the stores?

I was going to check out the BFR Axis and the BFR Luke that you had listed. Both very nice guitars BTW........

Just got my fully loaded 3rd EBMM JP6 Pearl Redburst at GC in Langhorne, PA on CLEARANCE! Yeah it has the D-Sonic as opposed to the CL, but it still shreds.

If it is on the list it should be marked for clearance. i will forward this thread to the District Manager in that area and see what's up...

I certainly didn't intend to get anyone in trouble. I just think that some stores may be out of sync in terms of the information passing through.

In their defense, the staff there are really helpful (I bought a 46th JP6 from them) and even though I said a manager didn't know about it, he may have been from another department and we grabbed him as he was passing by.......

Hey, we should start a new post with methods of sneaking new guitars into the house without the wife knowing. I got three (2Morse 1ASS)through in the last 5 months that she don't know exists haha feel like I should be playing the ol' mission impossible series music when I'm in 'import stealth' mode & no way she gonna go up the attic ladder to my music room.

That's not that hard. I will....on occation....bring an empty case with me to work. I come home with a guitar case. At first, the wife gave me the evil eye and I'd open it and say "I was measuring something with the scale at work" or some other technical BS to throw her off. Then, I'd take one of my guitars in. Open up.... "oh, that's your guitar". After a while, there are no more questions. I don't display my EBMM's. They are in cases in the closet. I could have 12 extra guitars and she'd never really know. (I have my own closet with none of her stuff in it).

Feel free to use my method.
