New Guitar Day!

Today is new guitar day! Hope I don't miss the UPS man. Sucks when I have to be at work all day when I'm waiting on a NEW GUITAR!

Got an Olive Gold JP6 with Rosewood BFR neck coming. It's the one that Pete had at DuBaldo Music. Pics as soon as I can.

This is going to be the longest day EVER.

Not only is waiting for the UPS guy on new guitar day one of the longest days ever....the anticipation can be sometimes made worse by UPS delivering to the wrong house (like when I was waiting for my Dargie DOH!!!!)

Don't freak...I'm quite sure that won't happen to you. I can count on one finger (and believe me that's a chore) how many times I've heard that happening.

I think my UPS guy was having an "off" day.

I was pretty lucky yesterday. Our mail guy comes early and he had my AL here before 10. I did have to wait all weekend though...

I'm kinda pissed, though. They just left it on my front porch... E-mailed Pete to see if he sent it with signature required. If not, then it's my fault for not asking for it...but my UPS guy has a habit of leaving things even when there's a signature required.

I just hope it doesn't get stolen or anything.

Canada Post did that to me with my 7-String. Huge box just chillin' on my front porch for 5-6 hours... I should have claimed it was stolen, AND gotten the guitar

Mine just knocks loud and leaves it on the porch. Luckily I've had someone at home each time.

My UPS guy doesn't even knock half the time. He did the same thing when MM sent my Amethyst BFR back to me...

I so wish I could pull that one off...I had to take the day off yesterday because my kids didn't have school. Plus, my boss is a smart guy. He'd see right through any attempts to leave early.

I'm just going to have to do SOMETHING to make the rest of the day go by faster. 2 1/2 hours left to go. It's especially excruciating today because we're DEAD. So not only do I have anticipation eating away at me, but I've got nothing to do to pass the time.

No widgets to sell...unless you want a multi-million dollar insurance policy on your truck fleet, crops, horses, etc. And even then it wouldn't be me selling it. I'm just a lowly systems administrator...and nobody seems to be breaking any servers today.
