Hello my friends,

Well, three months ago I ordered myself a little something and it arrives today! I had been sitting on some Sweetwater credit (no interest for two years), but since they didn't offer Music Man at the time, I didn't use the credit. The interest rate is terrible, but I have 2 years to pay it off without being hit with the interest, so I went for it.

Here's a teaser shot:

In the past, a NGD for me was easy to figure out:
"Ole Tah-lee (pronunciation for those reading aloud) bought himself another...you guessed it...another Axis".

But, that fateful day that I picked up the Dark Lord changed my approach. I wanted the Dark Lord because it had a reverse headstock, and to an 80's rocker like me, a reverse headstock is the coolest. Then I realized that it was really fun to have another guitar in my arsenal that was unlike the others. One that had that ebmm neck that I love so much, but with a different neck shape and different pickups. That is why I've shifted focus in my collection. I'm still strictly ebmm, but with a little variety within the brand.

I had her shipped to the FedEx office near my work, so I'll be picking her up later today.

This one is not a Morse. The Morse is what got me interested in trying other ebmm models, but this is a different model.

As a follow up - is Sweetwater great or what??!! They order all of these awesome combinations of EBMM instruments that we can drool over and buy on the spot if we would like. The best geetar pron site out there!

Thanks! This one was a special order, and ebmm turned it out in their usual timeframe (just under 3 months).

Thanks...as Mat (Stratty) said, I was worried somewhat since I've seen some Koa tops that I didn't like the grain on, but my koa top is just fabulous! At least in photos...I won't see it in person until later tonight

I know, I've wanted to discuss it since January! I'm excited to try the EMGs, but I won't be home until much later today.
