Well, it has been quite the weekend!

Having been saving my hard earned Dollars for a while now, I reached the point where I could start seriously looking for another axe to add to my collection. With this in mind, My Wife and I booked a weekend trip so we could visit three GC's and check what they had.

We visited Greensboro, Durham and Raleigh all in North Carolina to see what they had. The only store that had any real EBMM guitars was Greensboro. I got a chance to play a Reflex (not my kind of axe), a LIII in sunburst (in very poor setup shape) and a JP! The JP surprised me the most as I actually liked it! I played one of the BFR ones in black burst and the sound, feel and weight were really nice. However the neck profile was far too different for me, and I don't think I would get used to it.

I also played a red Albert Lee HH and was really pleased with it! The quirky shape is very comfortable for me, and felt very nice in my hands. Sadly all the ones that CG had all had wobbler bars so I did not get it.

But!

With the decision made that the ALHH is the way I wanted to go, I got on the internet and bought this tonight from theperfectguitar.com !

I had my eye on this partic-ular axe for some time and I thought lets do it! :D

It seems that I should get it by Monday at the latest! Very excited I can tell you! This is the first new EBMM guitar I have bought since 1996, and the last EBMM guitar I bought was probably 10 years ago! :D

As soon as it comes there will be a full photo gallery!

:D

Nice one! That's an interesting pattern on the neck, compared to the neck on my AL HH which is an even dark color. I like it!

Everyone should have an AL HH.

I spent a bit of time with one of these. They are great. You'll have a wonderful time I'm sure.
Is this going to be a stage guitar or will you be sticking with your Axis hardtails?
