new guitar pics

This is my first attempt at posting pics, so bear with me.

I received this guitar about a month ago. I thought I'd share some thoughts on my first Music Man. The finish is beautiful along with the craftmanship. This guitar is lava pearl. It's more rust colored than red or orange. I really like it. Playability wise the guitar is very nice with excellently dressed frets. The pups sound fine to my ears, although I could see how some would opt for higher output pups. I have found that there is not much shoulder space along the fretboard for the high e string so I've had to alter my somewhat heavy handed style to a lighter touch.

The guitar is very small and does have a minature guitar vibe to it. The nut width is very narrow and the neck feels pretty small to me and I have average sized hands. It has taken sime time to get used to it. I haven't decided if I will keep it or not but I'm in no hurry to make any decisions. I'll play it for a few more months and then decide. Overall I'm impressed with the quality of this instument.

Congrat's, Shady. I hear what you're saying about requiring a lighter touch and the small feeling body, but I think once you do settle down with it you won't want to sell it. If you do, I don't think you'll have much trouble selling it here.

Very cool, I love the silo specials, as for the neck its actually 1 5/8 width at the nut which is common on other brand guitars, it feels smaller because of the way its shaped and stuff, anyhow I would throw a black ice pickguard on that thing!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm trying to play this guitar exclusively now and it's getting harder to put down. My strat may start to get jealous.
