Welcome aboard Jon! By the way, there is a difference in sound with the rosewood axis vs. the maple top and maple neck (with a maple board) axis'. The other thing about your guitar is that they are no longer being made so, it is a true classic...:cool:

Thank you everyone and thank you BP I figured they were. I'm sure the rosewood has a big factor on the difference in sound, but it sounds great with these pickups. All I know is this guitar through a Mesa Lonestar is the sound I've always wanted and thats the next fund. Although... I have already talked to my salesman about possibly ordering a DD2 Silhouette (I was already ahead of all of you about being addicted already haha). I'm guessing the Lonestar might be waiting a little longer haha.
