Hi everybody. I thought I'd officially say hello and attach a pic of course. My name is Brian and I am happily married with three beautiful boys, all very young still, and their Dad loves rippin' it on his Axis!! Not sure if their mom loves it so much:p

I bought this guitar new from the The Twelfth Fret in Toronto about five years ago now. I love this guitar.

Cheers!

Hey Loud, welcome to the board. Yeah the fret is a great store but when I bought my Silo the only store carrying EBMM was Steve's.

Hey Brian.

Welcome to the forums. Your Axis SS is amazing. I've got an Axis in that same colour coming in about a month. I hope it looks as good as yours.

I know the 12th Fret quite well. Good bunch of guys work there.

Thanks for the nice welcome guys.:)

I realized that I didn't give the details of my setup. So here goes Axis -> cable -> amp. That's pretty much it  That Soldano is a 50W Soldano Avenger w/no loop. The Marshall cab has Greenbacks in it and this setup for me is truly glorious. Every time I play through it I think I'm in Rock 'n' Roll Heaven ;)

The combo you barely see in the pictue is a Line 6 Flextone II XL. I use it for low volume home playing. I stuck some G12M Greenbacks in there and closed the back up with a piece of wood I had lying around the garage, and all my presets have the 'cab sims' turned off. A couple of the presets I use this way sound really good.

My Axis is my baby, what else can I say. I also play a Godin SD bought from The Twelfth Fret as well. It's a nice little guitar too. Every time a pick up and EBMM at my local music store I'm always impressed by their playability and wonder how other companies charge the crazy prices they do, for guitars, that for me, don't even come close?

Thanks again guys and I'll try and post a different pic of my Axis SS in the "post pics of your guitars" thread later this weekend.

Cheers.
