Greetings !
Another "New Guy" thread. I followed Larry (Mobay) over here from TalkBass after he sold me his MM. Thanks Larry ! I am lovin' it . Just thought I would check in and introduce myself. [in the right forum this time  ... don't ask]

Hi Rick! I guess you're still liking that 'Ray. I just hope you like it as much as I like my new Bongo. BTW - If you spend much time on this board, you'll be gassing like crazy for one too. ;)

"Still liking that 'Ray" ... understatement of the year ! The new strings brightened it right up, too. All this time I was thinking I needed to change something in my rig to cut through like I thought I should be. A couple of months ago our sound guy let me borrow one of his MM's. I was hooked.

BTW Larry ... Thanks again. Thanks to your tip about the EB forums, now I have TWO boards to follow at work ! ;)

I'm not crazy about the Bongos(yet). Maybe they have to grow on you awhile. Of course, I haven't played one either.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.

Welcome. I was recently recruited from TB. I'm just starting to feel at home here. All these guys ever talk about though is basses. Basses basses basses. Is there anything else to life? Uhh....

I'm waiting on my new Bongo!

My job is just an end to the means. I work so that I can play music and have nice equipment. (OK, I like to eat too.) Being able to leave here and play music is what motivates me.

BTW - Welcome Dr. Cheese. I've run into you over at TB in the past. Glad to have you on board.
