Yup, one of the more informative videos on the web.

I believe JP's using a Lonestar from what I see in he background, great tone!

Getting two of them for backup too?:p

*I think 7-strings are nicer to add the low 5th... Adds considerably to my decision of a 6-string or 7-string JP F1 :D

I couldn't resist, although I may get into trouble...no offence to Catholics or John for that matter, although you have to admit, his skills are quite heavenly!

Hes got some great tone there. Dark punchy yet articulate. And his timing and rhythm its like he has a metronome in his head.

Offensive? No way! Now if he was done up as a Rabbi then we'd have a problem. :)

Believe it or not, I got turned on to them by Michael Angelo in like 1987.

I worked at a music store part time just helping out, cleaning guitars, changing strings, etc. They sold Randall amps and he, at the time, was an endorsee. Well he did a clinic there and of course, I was there to help out.

He uses the red ones though. The red ones feel and sound different from the black ones to me. :)

Eric Johnson uses the red ones too. ;)
