This excellent sounding SR5 from 1996 has lived a very harsh live. Not sure what happened, but I bet it was one of those poor instruments which was never cleaned or taken care of. Decided to repair all of its dents and problems, and went for one of the discontinued colors from Ernie Ball. The shop which helped me did a great job in capturing the Transparent Lime Green hue, applied to the originally Natural colored body. All that ash deserved to show its grain. Very happy with the results.

You prove that it's not obligatory to purchase the newest equipment to enjoy creating music. I like how your guitar looks.

This one is described as "Translucent Lime Green" but is actually "Translucent Green":

It was definitely the color. I ordered what I thought was a green(ish) bass. When I opened the case, I was a little surprised to find it looked a lot like mustard. Some wags have suggested other things were a similar color, but I ignored them and named it "Heinz" after the mustard.
Stanky has Heinz now, but almost everyone has owned that bass at one time or another.
Heinz spent a considerable amount of time in Sweden, too. TWICE.
