OK, I know I sold my Dargie Luke but really needed the cash at the moment and I was not playing it much due to the 2007 JP LE and being afraid to damage it, and I know guitars are meant to be played, which brings me to the point of this thread!

I want another Luke miss one very much so BFR Luke or non BFR Luke, what to do formites think, I really want to hear from those that have both or played both:D

I say go the regular route. For me, at least, after a certain price-point on a guitar I treat it as you did your DDLuke. I'm not afraid to pay the higher amount, I'd just be afraid to play the thing and damage it. I haven't tried a BFR Luke.

If I had to pick only one out of my stable to play forever, it would be my Candy Red Luke because it covers the most ground and is just so perfect. (The AL would be a very close 2nd) Best of luck.

I'll sell you a Dargie ;) :p But I'd go with whatever you feel most comfortable with. Try both :D I have played both... and my conclusion is they are both great. So its a hard choice.

I love Lukes. I play the one at our store often. We've got a BFR on order which I will have to try after I'm gone.
