Help! New Majesty tone control help

Hi,
I just got my first music man guitar, a 6 string JP Majesty, its amazing.
I am having a little problem where my tone control doesn't work as it should, when i roll the tone down it does nothing until its at the end of the taper, then its fully off and sometimes it doesn’t roll off at all. everything else works perfectly and i was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue and how they fixed it, I know normally i could replace just the pot but this is not a simple fix for this guitar.

The tone control should sweep the tone as you turn the knob, that is the normal behavior. From light to dark, dark to light, light to dark, dark to light! It sounds like something is not right with the one you have. Bummer! But, contact Music Man, or the dealer where you got it and they should take care of you (replacement guitar or repair).
