Hello all, glad to find the forum. Here are a few of my favorite "house guests"

A 95 EB tobacco burst with "flea" bridge front and an 82 MM in natural with non string through bridge. Both are new arrivals, the 82 had been in it's case for 25 yrs, it cleaned up very well. The 95 is in great shape too. The MM in the case is a 79 stingray I bought in Bullhead city AZ in 1984? for $200.

We used to call it the "turd", but it had that piano sound I could not get from my precision, or the crazy martin bass I had or any other. The "root beer" color seemed to craze and crack more than others, but it still sounds good. M

mine is pretty cracked up too! This finish is nitrocellulose wich they used at first, wich makes it much more fragile. The finish on my stingray guitar really needs some sun light before you can see the wood through it, i wonder if it used to be more transparent. Also the neck (and body) on mine is pretty sticky.
