In about 1,5 weeks I'm going home to Holland for two weeks over Christmas, and taking my Blueburst Morse with me to my father.

I realised I like it quite much so I need a replacement, and started typing up an email to Pete Dubaldo to ask him how long it would take to order a Y2D, how much it would cost etc.

Then when I was about to hit send I figured why not check the site and I saw he had one in stock, signed by Steve at the clinic! Man, thats cool! So I added the question how much the signature added to the price of that baby.

Response email came pretty quick and to my surprise the signature added nothing to the price! That settled it. A quick check of finances and now it should be sent out to me tomorrow :)

I decided to go for the Y2D and not the original like I have now because with the music I play I find myself mostly using either one or both of the humbuckers and the single coils not so much, so I cant wait to try the Y2D!

Pics will follow as soon as I get it. Hopefully before I leave next week so I can get some quick pics of the two Morses together before they get seperated :)

It was a very sudden case of GAS that just had to be taken care of :D

Very nice! Hope you don't regret holding out for the black one that I've heard is rumored to be coming down the pipes.

The purple sunset Y2D is the guitar I would undoubtedly buy first. Plays amazing, looks even more amazing. My favorite Music Man guitar. :p

You give your original Morse to your father ????

What a good son you are ! I hope my son will do the same one ... but he is a drummer so I doubt it will happen !

Congratulations for your new axe

Oh man! Another one who played it? I already got pissed when Pete told me that Steve Morse played on it! I was like "WHAT?! Now it's USED!!!! That's unacceptable!!!!"

hahaha j/k ;)

Yeah I cant wait for it to arrive.

And I'm not so much giving it to my father, he'll have to give me a small fee :p But it's much less than if he had to buy it in Holland I'm sure (gotta love current Euro - Dollar exchange rate)

Why am I not surprised that you almost bought it Keith? But I'm glad you didn't haha

And I thought about the black one Panther, but I couldn't wait. :)

Like I said, pics will follow when it's here!

This guitar has an awesome top, and thanks for the order!

I've never really understood why some people try and gouge on the prices of signed instruments. I view it as a special/free bonus for buying through us! Any signed product we have is no more expensive than an identical unsigned one...

Steve signed all our Morse models and Dave LaRue signed a whole bunch of our basses.
