Hi- I just got my Morse a couple day ago. I love this guitar. I can't put it down. It's gonna take a little time to get used to the shape and all those knobs. I really like the pickups but I have a question about the bridge HB. It is totally different than anything I have had. It seems a bit twangy even at high distortion levels. Not bad, just different. Anyone have any experience putting a different HB in it.

The SM Bridge pup is very expressive. If it is to twangy for your tastes, I suggest you try rolling off the volume and/or tone knobs a little. That pup will respond amazingly and dynamically.

rolling those back a little does help. This must be a pretty high output PU

I could be wrong on this, but I believe he likes them hot because he does a tone knob/wah effect when he is playing. That is why the knobs are so easily reached and the extra oomph in the gain makes the effect more pronounced.

But I could be totally wrong on this. Actually, if you ask my wife, that whole being wrong thing is something I am really good at. It's almost a super power...
