Pete,
Have you or anyone else seen or do you know if the 3 color choices for the new Morse are available anywhere yet? I'm ready to place an order for one, and would like to see all three before making my choice.

I got the ok from my wife to buy one so I'm chomping at the bit place the order. :D I'll be ordering it with the upgraded quilt top, fixed bridge, color yet to be determined...

Does anyone know what gauge strings come stock on these bad boys? With the fixed bridge model can you restring it with 10's if it comes stock with 9's? Never having a fixed bridge guitar before, I didn't know if changing string gauges was something you could do without having the trem springs to compensate for the difference. I'd hate like hell to whack out the neck on this thing.

thanks,
fred

Fogman,
Thanks for the pictures... I had only seen pictures of the guitar in the middle. I had an idea what the Tobacco Sunburst would look like. I guess I just have to figure out the difference between Purple Sunset and De-Purple Burst. That blue flame model doesn't seem to fit either of those descriptions, and the middle guitar could be either as far as I'm concerned.

I guess I'll have to wait for the official word... sigh.

Nothing worse than have big time G.A.S, and the money burning a hole in my pocket.

That's exactly the same as me, except I don't have the ok from the wife.
I hope Orange doesn't mind but my wife said "Why do you need another Steve Morse guitar?"
My reply was "this one has 24 frets" :)
