I want to change the pickups in my standard Morse and was thinking of a Seymour Duncan custom custom in the bridge and either a Duncan jazz or pearly gates in the neck position. I was thinking about only going the two humbucker route and putting a two way coil tap switch where the three way switch is now. Eventually I will have a new pick guard made as soon as I settle on the pickups and configuration.

Anyone have any experience with any of these Duncan pickups? Any input would be welcomed . Thanks in advance

Hi Gio - I have a Silo PDN Starry Night in which I have a Custom Custom in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck. Custom HH pickguard also. I had a three way switch in it but have since gone to a five way switch so I can have some single coil sounds as well. In the Alder body of the Silo the pickups sound outstanding. Great in clean jazzy type stuff (neck jazz pickup) all the way to screaming hi gain and everything in between. Great clarity and tone. I hope this helps.

It does help thank you! I went and ordered a custom custom for the bridge and the pearly gates for the neck. So in a couple days those should come in. I just need to order a Morse pick guard just for two humbuckers.
