The great thing about used gear is you get to try something out that you can flip for the same price if it's not for you. Only way I got to try a Morse, Luke, etc. (None of my local dealers had these.)
If I didn't like 'em, I could have sold for the same price. However, once you're sold on the gear ... buy it new.
