I just came into 2 new to me EBMM Axis guitars. I think my Heritage H-150's are going to get lonely now with these around. I'm thinking of putting the EVH D-tuna on these so I can get alittle more versatility out of them. Does anyone else have one on their's? Do you like it? And one other thing I need to set one up in standard one whole step down, anyone else do this? How'd it work out? THanks.

:)

That's a sweet color on the second one. What is it, I've never seen that one before. I put a d-tuna on mine, it's fine, easy to setup and use. I'm sure the tuning down isn't a problem either, just require some setup. Maybe tighten spring claw, and add a spring or two? A little truss tweak and you're probably good to go.

I was told by the previous owner that it was the Millenium Paint. I know it's a 2000 so that would make sense. The people at EBMM told me that around 20 were painted that color.

I like the finish on the second one too! :)

I've got a D-tuna on one of my Axes - it was simple to install and set-up, and works very well...

I bought a D-tuna for my EVh a few years ago and it was really easy to install and use. However, I ended up not using it very much and I prefer the look of the guitar without it so I recently removed it. To be honest, it depends what music you play how useful it will be - I tend to use a non locking trem guitar for anything that requires different tunings- preferably fixed bridge or Sil Spec where the trem sits flat :)

It is indeed Metal Flake Green, and the DOB is 11/15/00 This was a regular production color, since discontinued.

As I said before, it was a regular production color for some time. I have never heard of any Millinium color or anything like that, but I am sure there are quite a few Metal Flake Greens out there to be had.

That one is the second one that I've seen. I think that Royal Music in NY might still have one also. I know that have a Brown Metal Flake, that sounds cool, but I've never seen. It was from the same time frame asn the Green Metal Flake.

Nice color, it reminds me of guacamole, :D Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
