I just received a new pickguard assembly from EBMM, and I'm just amazed.

I wanted an HSS pickguard for my SSS Silo Special, and after the usual phenomenal Customer Service experience (thanks, Dan!), I had my pickguard in less than a week.

(Big Poppa, I will NEVER take your excellent Customer Service team for granted! I'm sorry that some others seem to).

This thing is a work of art. For those who might not know it, EBMM uses a little Molex connector to attach the pickup assembly to the guitar. To change pickups, loosen the strings, unscrew the pickguard, unplug the Molex, plug in the new one (pickups are already mounted), screw it on, and tune up. The body is already routed for either configuration. From SSS to HSS in five minutes, with no soldering and no mods!

The most amazing thing is the price...it's right in line with a new pickguard plus three new pickups if you bought them separately, plus you get the Silent Circuit. EBMM products and support are head and shoulders over everything else out there.

I'll be ordering another Silo Special this month...HSS, trem, piezo, the only thing I'm still working on is rosewood vs. maple and the color.

GH, if you're interested in parting with your SSS assembly, IM me, ok?

And I agree about Dan and CS in general.

Not all guitars have the Molex connector - my BCB AL doesn't have one - maybe it's because it has a Piezo.
Not sure about the LEAL - I haven't taken that one apart ... ... ... yet !!

Will do...BTW, it's a shell PG with black pups, prolly look pretty good on a lot of different colors.
