I looked around, but didn't see a post about this, but it looks like they updated the MM site and added new pictures for the colors, that reflect the guitar you are actually looking at. They removed the discontinued colors, but even so, the new pics are sweet.

They have this black morse up showing the recessed trem:

And this silo:

But also the Petrucci and some of the other stuff have much better representation of colors. I LOVE IT!

I'm not sure if I like the new picture of the morse blue? I'm hoping it's just the way the wood reacted with the finish but it does look different to me...

Man that silo is a beaut.

If it had a white pearloid pick guard with the black pups and knobs It would be the one id have.

That AL is sick! I'm not usually a fan of blue finishes, but that's just hot.

The Cherry Burst JP is great, too.

The trans blue Al is a beaut.. and the reaction to it here helps me wonder where you all were when I sold my pristine mint trans blue AL here a few months back. Someone in England is very happy now.

In the pic here and on the website the color appears alot darker than it really is, and this might be to the background color and the reaction of the camera. It's lighter in real life, and almost teal in some light.
If they they haven't changed the stain/paint formulation that is.....

I used to have a trans blue AL. It looked NOTHING like that color. It had much more of a turquoise tint to it. It certainly was not that deep of a blue like in the pic.

I think the lighting has everything to do with it. My trans blue ASS looks a different color in every picture.
