Did they go quartersawn or flatsawn for the bone graft? Satin or gloss finish?

Glad you are okay and playing bass, again. I've done the broken shoulder thing. It sucks balls, and I don't mean the bass.

So, don't do that anymore.

In my ambulance days, saw too many motorcycle accidents. Can't think of one that it was the motorcyclist fault. Mostly people pulling out in front of them, "not seeing" them. I had to give up bike riding, wasn't comfortable any more for me. Take care if you choose to continue to ride, and welcome back to bass playing!!

See, that right there is funny.

Fortunately my shoulder wasn't broken, just separated. It's never gonna heel fully. There's always gonna be a separation, the ligament and tendons and stuff will grow back but it'll never be tight again.

There goes the pitching career :p

Well my riding days are over for the time being. My wife said she probably could be ok with it but the kids can't handle Dad get back in the saddle. They say it's ok but I can see the worry in their eyes. So I sold it to a buddy in my BMWBMW club. I still have visitation rights.

After we lost my sister in a motorcycle accident , I saw that same look in my mothers eyes. I too, sold mine, but without the visitation rights. I figure that I owe her at least that much and couldn't bear the thought of putting her through that again. Plus I spent the money on basses.

A better, safer and enjoyable choice! Sorry for the loss of your sister.
