had some scratchplate material left over from a job so I thought another change of clothes for my Egyptian Smoke Bongo was in order.

not totally convinced yet, but it might grow on me (it's not quite as bright as that IRL) - I have some black pearloid coming soon too so it might not stay on there long.

It's a cheap way of getting a "new" bass though ;)

I think you need a wider strap. :D

Andrew

The wider the strap is, the longer you can stand there and play. Simple physics. The weight is distributed over a wider area of the shoulder. Sometimes three one hour sets are a long time to have a bass hanging over you shoulder for an evening.

Agreed! I don't use any strap less than 3" in width.

Indeed. That Black Sapphire Bongo is a heavy sum'bitch compared to the other ones I've played. And, I don't play gigs less than 3 hours.
