This one nails it for me. If it were not for saving my schekels for new gamechanger, I would want one of these SBMM Sterling clones w/maple. Just the ticket for a mighty fine backup, heck, mighty fine as primary.

really,REALLY thinking about one of these.......played the Ray 34 many times,but i'm a sucker for a Sterling so,this might be the ticket.

you do,do maple boards right Pat......and who about HS?

Thanks to Sterling by Musicman I just got mine in the mail on the 11th. The neck seems more substantial than the rosewood one. The tone is all there, and the fit and finish is great. Love this bass!

just had a message from local music shop salesman (order last week) that my SBMM SB14 TBS is already arrived...very excited to test it (and buy it ofc)...
