New Screen Name and trigger pulling.

Hey kids.

Jimmy-Jengas has been retired. I got fed up wit explaining that my name wasn't Jimmy and what Jimmy-Jengas actually was. So, this is the new screen name.

In other news, I just got word that my order got placed. I have a new Music Man guitar coming in. It'll be here in three months or so. I'm very excited. Just thought I'd be secretive and forboding. More to come.

What does Jimmy-Jengas stand for?

I’m just curious among other things like what you ordered. But that is for another day. Keeping us in suspense I reckon.

I remember the first time I came to the forums (probably a good five years ago). It was directly related to the JP guitars and their left-handed availability... Or lack thereof.

I had emailed Dan McPherson about getting one lefty, and his reply was simple and to the point.

"No."

I told my co-worker that his response was like a kick to the Jimmy-Jengas. I told him that I was going to go onto the forums to display my frustration throughout the e-world. He said "At least you have a screen name." and thus the Jimmy-Jengas monicker was born.

After many threads started and diverted, the left-handed JP became reality. I still remember how ridiculous that day was. Sterling made me the happiest guy ever, because it was so much more than just getting a new guitar made. It told me that with patience, persistence and sticking up for the right people; the little guy could come out on top.

I had some money troubles, but it's over. I'm looking at blue skies, bow ties and butterflies finally. I decided to reward myself by ordering specifically the guitar that should have been mine when the announcement came.

There's my story.

Yup. It's short for spaz. No you can't call me JimTim. No one except for my co-worker and I knew what Jimmy-Jengas were.

Also, no one likes you Dizzy. They tolerate you because of the extensive collection you have. "Hopefully he didn't steal any of 'em though... Damned Aussies."

You don't have to worry about the bird seed -they're rainbow lorikeets and eat only honey, nectar and fruit juice.
