In October I sold my blue Silhouette with trem to order a Silhouette Special in Vintage Sunburst with the vintage pearloid pickguard. Its a HSS hardtail. Humbucker music said it should be in any day now! I can't wait to play through my new DRZ Maz Jr NR.

Congrats on an amazing guitar! Vintage Sunburst is such a cool color especially for the Silo Special with the vintage pearl guard. Did you go with rosewood or maple board? What made you get the Silo Special over the standard Silo? Just curious. I love my Silo Special...my No. 1, but the Y2D gets a lot of playing time as well. Welcome to the forum by the way!

Hey, my brother from another mother! Or sister, possibly :). I have your setup (almost): Vintage Sunburst Silo Special with pearloid guard and trem, I play it through a MAZ 18 NR. You're going to be very happy in a few days, congrats!

Maple board. I chose the special because usually on a hum bucker guitar, I'm using the bridge pickup, but on my Strat and Tele, I use the neck and neck-middle. Then I switch guitars based on the tone for that song. This way, I have the best of both worlds. I hope I don't regret not getting another term model though.

The music man vintage trems are awesome! If its not part of your playing than you should be fine with the hardtail.
