A while ago I scored my Silo Spec Autumn Redburst Sparkle. To me, that was really one of the most satisfying moment in my life. It was the first time I came into contact with a Silo Spec... The Sparkle Silo Spec really blew me away! Compact, superb finish, and really versatile in tone! When I thought I am satisifed, another opportunity came, just 3 days after the Sparkle landed at my doorstep...

I grab the chance, as I knew it might not come again, and I think it do make a great pair to what I have just acquired. Here it is..

As usual, great thing comes with bad packaging...

Unveiling...

You all should know what it is by now..

To those who have not seen the Blue Dawn in person - YES - it does sparkle, & dont hesistate anymore, go grab one now!!!!

Well, even the mighty AL takes a back seat to the unreal tone of the silo special neck pickup, its magic. just kills kills kills a strat. maple or rosewood board, doesnt matter, it has great tone.

Now you gotta get a SSS Silo Special, just so you know how great it can be too.

Roger that Sir!

I am actually looking for a SSS one (inspired by JohnC's!), but I knew this Blue Dawn would be gone if I dont make my decision quick. So I'm gonna plant a SSS assembly into one of the pair these days!

Thank you Poppa. Thanks for bringing back the Blue Dawn. I'm late for the game but glad I didnt miss it after all.

Remember the time when you launch the LE07, and some of us here having doubts on the finish? I have doubts too. Yup - you cant trust pics for this kind of finish. You must see it yourself. But thats nothing much we can do other than speculating through pics. I gotto tell you - its John C's SSS on a silo spec that won me over. The sparkle, to me, is a BONUS.

Thanks John for the great inspiration. Yup, me is into the CLUB.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Its relly hard to describe the color and to bring out the sparkle on film. Check out Roburado's Bongo pics, he did a REALLY great job!

I'm sorry but BLUE DAWN is just flat out JAW DROPPING.

Hey Danny, I should be sorry for the lousy pics. It should look like this in person, courtesy of JohnC...

Best of all, only 32 of these were made, according to Dan..;)

Way to go, Jimmy! Beautiful pair. Next, an SSS maple board ;).

Thanks Bruce! I'm afraid no more $ for more Balls for the time being, with all these unexpected expenditures (& marriage, new house,..) Gonna transform one of these into a SSS!!

Glad to be in the same league as you - DSSC Double Silo Spec Club!!:D
