Behold.............."Woody"

My new SR4 HH Slo Special.

It came with a Tort guard, but I kinda prefer the black. The color is Trans Gold. I sold my Sapphire Black one to fund the purchase. I love the Slo Special Dargie I picked up last month (it's the only bass I play lately), and the guys in the band thought they were Bongo fans, but once I started playing the Ray with flats, they dig the way it sits in the mix.

The Trans Gold looks so good, and having another Slo ain't bad either!! :D

Wow that looks awesome! And since I am getting ready to order a Sterling 4HH I just might get Trans Gold with Black Pearloid pg. I had two other colors I was thinking about but now seeing these pics and how they show how good Trans Gold looks, it is starting to take the lead in what I end up getting. :D

Congratulations! I really would like to try a SLO Special some day... BTW, did you use Wonder Wipes fretboard Conditioner on the neck? It looks wet on the second picture.

Those Slo Specials are awesome! I love mine. It is a little heavier than my others, but boy that E string growls!

Thanks Man.

Oh yeah, as a matter of fact I did use a wipe...since I put flats on it, I wasn't too concerned with getting any of it on the strings. I wiped it off soon after I took the picture. It's basically a Sterling neck...aside from that, it's the same as any StingRay.

Wowie wow wow, that's my dream bass. I just discovered the SLO special even existed today, and I think this might be what brings me back to the fold. Let me know if anyone wants to trade one for a Fender US Jazz!!
