Funny, so I was not the only one... while listening to Chicago I wondered (for umpteenth time) why Steve Harris wasn't attracted to the StingRay.
Regarding the songs: The recording is quite good and so are the instrumental sounds. Your basslines are good, interesting and not overdone.
Chicago has a very nice (Dave Murray Style) guitar solo but either misses some vocals or should have more catchy instrumental lines. I also had the impression that the drums are not loud enough.
On A Rude Awakening, I'd have gone for a way more aggressive bass tone (slightly overdriven 'Ray grind). Also, I'd let the notes ring in the main riff instead of the stopped/muted rhythm, throwing in a good measure of octaves and pentatonic runs à la Steve Harris and Billy Sheehan.
Shattered: Somebody's standing on the breaks... play that song 5 - 10 beats faster!
Generally, the band should work more on the band timing (which might be a problem of playing to a click and track by track recording) and the vocal lines. Also, try to catch more of the raw engergy you guys surely have when playing live -- the recording sounds a bit as if you're holding back.
Sorry to criticize, but I think it's more helpful to point out weaknesses than to just pat your shoulders. I hope it is constructive and helpful.
