Hi, just got this new Sterling 5. I now wanted to set it up to my liking, but two things are bothering me:
I can't lower the G string like I'd like, the saddle bottom out on the bridge and the string is still pretty high off the fingerboard.
I'm afraid to tighten the truss rod nut. It's so tight that the allen wrench I inserted into the hole as lever is bending. I can loosen it, and then tighten it until it get back to where it was when I got the bass, but tightening more than that would require a lot of force.
Did I get a dud?
