New Sterling?

Hi Guys,
I went to my local GC this afternoon and saw that there was a sterling 4 maple neck and Blue dawn finish for $699. Is that a good deal?
Just wondering how much the normal sterling 4 cost?
If anyone interested, send me some money and I'll get that for you

Considering I bought the exact same model at a guitar center (and by exact I mean it has the same color and neck even) for $1200 with case i'm gonna say it's a good deal as long as it isn't damaged.

If it is in good condition, be there when they open and buy it. That sounds like an excellent deal to me. The Sterlings that I've seen on e-bay seem to go for about the same price as the Stingrays.

That sounds like a great deal to me, provided the cosmetics are sound

I saw that exact same Sterling at the SF Guitar Center for $899 though ... did you mistake the "8" for a "6" or did I?

yeh, sterlings go for about the same as Stingrays, a tad more in some cases i think.
