I know you started this thread to talk about Steve Morse, but... the thing that caught my attention was Andy West going full digital, with a Helix straight into FRFR monitors. That's the revolution happening right before our eyes.

well, the digital revolution is not a secret, everyone has the choice to use whatever suits best or combine it. I think, guitar players are more open to digital solutions than ever (although nothing ever beats a loud tube amp :love::ROFLMAO: )

Steve Morse was absolutely on fire Saturday night @Ridgefield Playhouse...both sets. It had been been awhile since I had seen him live and he definitely let me know what I had been missing...HE'S STILL BADAZZ!!!

Very cool! One of my first concerts was Deep Purple, around 2001 or 2002... and it was a treat to see him with them.

such an amazing guys, but it is a little bit sad to come to realization that all people get old :-(

Also, I can not imagine how much I hated him when he joined DP back in the 96 :)
