Hello,
I just (finally) snagged a nice Stringray 5 with the three EQ controls.
I cannot seem to find a manual on the bass... I know it's a bass and not a shuttle craft, but there are some things that a manual has that are usefull.
Such as:
(1) General usage - boost, cut
(2) Volume control - how to use it properly. I have found out that maybe 100% all the time might not be best.
(3) Suggested EQ settings to get some common tones used by Stingray users.
(4) care of the bass - the EB site referred to using gun oil on the neck (??) .. Never had to do that before.
(5) Guidelines for usage with pedal rigs, different types of amps, DI into PAs,...
I have not owned a significant piece of gear like this in 25 years that did not have a guide to get the most out of it. Even a third party book on the bass would be nice.
I am far from a bass noob, but there has to be at least a guide on suggested EQ settings a working bassist can use as a foundation for their own settings...
