I got a cinnamon SUB1 from a student, and while cleaning it, I took the bridge out and compared it to my Silo Sp bridge. The Silo Sp bridge is engraved, the SUB1's is not. The brass colored one is the SUB1. The SUB1's has a strip of felt where it rests on the body, none on the Silos. They are slightly different in weight although I don't have a digital scale- the Silo's is a bit heavier, but only very slightly. Otherwise they look the same. Anyone know the difference? I am guessing whatever the SUB1's bridge is made out of would be slightly cheaper? Or do newer Silos have a brass colored block?

The pickups in mine are stock. The neck measures 8.55k, the bridge measures 9.65k. Slightly hotter PAFish. Sounds good though. I read here they are made overseas with US parts- in any case, there isn't much info about them, other than a lot of people here have changed them out. I think I will keep em for awhile and see how they sit with me over time. Interesting that they use 250k pots- I like the mellowness they have.

In any case, this guitar needs serious cleaning, and as soon as it is done, I will post pics. Amazing that someone let something so nice get so dirty! Also, it is funny to me that it says 'SUB1 Guitar' on the headstock, as if someone would think it is a toaster. :)

Yes, I knew the Subs didn't have the Music Man mark (same for the Sub basses at the time too).

My Silo special (2005 LE) has a brass block and felt. Your Silo is older than mine, right? Perhaps a production change somewhere between the two?
