New to MM, no idea what model I have?????

Hey to all,

My first post and my first mm. I was wondering if someone could tell me what model of guitar I have?? It's flat dark grey with a checkerplate pg. It only has one double single coil at the bridge, rosewood fretboard. One vol. one tone.

I really appreciate the help. Oh, and it's discontinued.

Well, that's part of the problem, the guitar isn't with me yet. I've been given the guitar, it's brand new but I have no info other than what I've given ya. Thanks guys. Where could I find a pic of the "sub"? That way I would know if you guys are right. I'm sure you are though. I checked the MM site out but of course no pics of discontinued steeds.
Thanks for all the replys and I have to say that I've got a little thang going for MM guitars. I'm a tele boy but these ones have a hook in me. I can see myself buying a few different models along the way. Any info on the "sub". Any reviews out there??

INMT, thank you!! The dude called Fingbeagles has the exact model but in red. Mines a dark metallic grey. Cool. Thanks for the help guys. You guys rock. I can't wait to hear how it plays. They seem to be smaller bodied guitars or shorter or something?? Obviously, I'm new to these guitars. I'm so used to spanking the plank, which as most of you know is a tele and they are one big plank of wood compared to the finesse of the MM's.

Welcome aboard mate! Sounds like a SUB1, as everyone else has said. Make sure to get the DOB once you get the axe and to take pictures!

Hello and welcome aboard !

The SUB is a great guitar. Don't forget to join the SUBOC (SUB Owner Club). And of course, do not hesitate to post pictures .

This is in black...not gray....and with 2 humbuckers....and with the trem (subs come either with a trem or hard tail). The finish is krinkle. The pickguard is an aluminum one, which I think is what keyed everyone into saying it was a sub.

If the finish were simply flat black and pickguard were not aluminum, it could be a Benji.

The guitar on the right is a Sub 1. On the left is an OLP copy of a Benji.
