Longtime EBMM guitar player here, but rarely a bass player. In a reassessment of the herd I traded for a essentially brand new Stingray that had been sitting unused in the case for about 2 years (still has plastic on the pickguards).
So the action is a little high but the neck looks good. I need to bring the action down. I usually do all my own setup work on my guitars so the concepts are familiar to me.
I understand that the bridge adjustment on each individual saddle is the method for this, however, I have probably 50 different allen keys yet none of them fit the saddles!
Am I missing something here? What tool do I use to adjust the saddles?
I'll apologize first if it's an obvious answer. I spent some time using the search function and looking at youtube's but couldn't find the answer.
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to slappin' da bass!
