I love it... I managed to walk away from the local GC with a SWR Triad for $200 bucks (plus I traded a Big Ben- 1x18). Triads are awesome - 1x15/1x10 and attenuated tweeter at 4 ohms. It sounds great with my Silverado Special (2x12) powering it. The new Bongo5 is going to sound so sweet when it arrives - OH ,WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG FOR EB TO FINISH MY BASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great score! The Triad is a wonderful cab, and probably the best compact full range cab on the market, but like most SWR cabs I think the tweeter is a waste of time. I have both tweeters in my Golaith Jnr and Son of Bertha dialled out.

You definitely have more patience than I do, my friend. I could never order one and wait months for it to arrive. I usually pay extra for overnight or 2 day shipping when I find gear I want - gives me quick relief (only temporarily) from that G.A.S.:p

Sad but true - I need the nearly instant gratification.

I was talking to Gard at Bass Central even before they had Bongo 5s in stock. What color, he wanted to know. Whichever one comes in first, I said.

He took it out of the box long enough to photograph it, didn't ever hang it on the wall, put it back in the original box and zipped it to me.

Good thing I've grown to like the color of that fiver! I really did tell him, "First one in, I don't care what color it is."

I would have gone that route but I knew I wanted a 5HHP and I hate the gray ones... so here I am still waiting... I think I'm starting to sound like one of the kids "is it here yet," "is it here yet," "is it here yet!"

I'm learning firsthand about suffering and pain on a whole new level.....Since ordering my SR5 from the factory, it's been pure anguish waiting for it to arrive!

Chuck Levin's told me 2 months, so I figured I could wait it out......yeah, right! It's been nearly three months now, and I'm pulling my hair out!

In the interim, I've been trying to fight off GASing, but you know how it is when you have GAS - you have to let it out. I've already bought my Birchwood Casey stuff, Dunlop straplocks, put a deposit on a SWR Workingman's 4004 Head and 4X10T Cabinet, AND I'm already looking at a Sting Ray.

If that SR5 doesn't get here soon, I'm gonna have to sell my home to pay for all the stuff I'll buy being impatient.
