Hey guys (and gals)... My band just posted one of the final mixes of one of our newer songs on our myspace page. The mix isn't final yet, and it has not been mastered yet, but it is almost done. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. Once it is finished we will be sending it to 89.7 (power fm) in Dallas, and hope to get some play time.
The bass is a little low since it isn't mastered yet, but you can get a decent idea of it. The recording was done with 2 signal chains.. one direct with my '94 stingray , the other was the stingray into my yorkville 800 and schroeder 1210 (mic'd). My playing in the song is very very simple as there is A LOT going on with the other musicians. It translates very well in a live setting, though on the recording it leaves me wishing I had done more.
Anyway, check it out and feel free to leave a critique or compliment. Also, you can here some very rough demos of some of our other stuff.(those were not done with the SR4)
