Hello everyone and I'm sorry for posting this again but wasn't sure if everyone would see my other post at the bottom of my old thread "Heres my #2" so I started a new thread just cause of this technical issue I have now..
anyway the Bass came and I love this bass its awesome and the neck is perfect (theres Pics in my first thread mentioned above)
heres the Kicker---> it has a Basslines pick-up in it and the 3 EQ knobs are disconnected! the MM electronics are still there but I'm wondering why they would install an aftermarket pickup and by-pass the electronics????
a few questions---> can the EQ be hooked back up to the Basslines pick-up or would it be better to just get another Musicman Pick-up and then have my guy wire that back up?
I do have another SR4 so I really didn't want these two basses to sound much different other than the two different fretboards.
and finally how much for a MM pick-up or does anyone have one forsale or trade for the basslines which seems to work fine..
the bass came with the most deadest strings I have ever heard and reall can't understand why someone would have strings this dead on such a nice bass?? but I haven't got a chance to play here through my stuff yet but will tomorrow with new strings to try the basslines.. you guys here may already have an answer for me though if I should bother keeping it.. thanks again for all the info you guys always help me out with.
