Guys I'm planning to do a trip to the US this month(my first one!) and particularly to NY. I won't be staying for more than three days. I need suggestions
a) On some cool spots where I can enjoy some cool live music
b) How much money do you think I should take with me(excluding accomodation costs).

Thanks for that, but actually I need some real advice. I'm going there for educational purposes(law) so I won't have any money to spend on things I fancy. So how much do you think I'm gonna need for 3 days. And oh, a spot with funky music...

hmm hmmm hmmmm what should you do *whips out trusty nft guide to new york* well if you're gonna do the shopping thing definetly hit up SoHo and then chinatown if you're an apple fan they have a cool store somewhere down there. depending on what kind of music you're into you might want to see who's at the knitting factory. if you like chocolate you should go to this place called "the chocolate bar" they make this liquid chocolate stuff thats really good. you might want to take a train down to new jersey and go to red bank, which is has been made famous with kevin smith's movies, but new york is cooler than here anyway. personally i think times square is overrated cause its too crowded but it might be worth going just to say you've been there.
as for money...bring more than you think you'll need its expensive...and dont buy anything that you cant get online because there's like an 8 or 10% sales tax
um....yeah thats all i can think of..hope this helps..sorry if it doesnt
just google anything you read here and you should find it pretty easily
