Howdy all, I have bought myself a Sterling by MusicMan Ray 34.

I wanted to get a U.S EB MM StingRay but getting a new one in my colour choice in left hand shipped to Australia was a bit rich for my budget - and I found out that EB doesn't make the 'Ray HH in left hand - so may as well get the SB MM.

It's a nice bass. From what I've heard it's virtually a StingRay under a different name. I've been playing bass for 30 years ...when I was young I dreamed of having a 'Ray and/or a Rickenbacker ....now I have both of these :)

Welcome...I think the Ray34 is the best bang-for-the-buck bass on the market. There is a Honeyburst Ray34 at my local GC that would be mine if I didn't need a 5-string the way I do. They are awesome basses!

Welcome... be careful though... This place has been known to cause GAS :D

thanks - I'm well familiar with GAS ... a few years back I suffered terribly, getting a new bass each year and a new amp every 6 months ... in the end the credit card buckled ...but thanks for the warning, it could happen again

Just don't ask PsychoWard to show you his lefty collection. It could be BIG TROUBLE.
