Newbie here

Hey, everybody. I've been lurking around here for quite a while (probably over the last several months), so I figured that it was time to register & join the fun.

I'm Bill, and I've been playing music for over 20 years. My main instrument is the fiddle (aka violin), but most of my gigs these days have me on bass. My bass band is primarily a Cajun band, but we also play a little of everything (zydeco, swamp pop, oldies rock, classic country, whatever).

Somewhere along the line I fell in love with Stingray basses & I lusted after one for a few years. I had a particularly profitable run of gigs in late 2000, so I brought home a brand new black SR4 with a rosewood fingerboard. 5 years later, I'm still jammin' with it!

Not bad at all. We got a lot of wind & a little rain, but nothing was damaged. I have a lot of musician buddies from New Orleans...keeping my fingers crossed for them!
