Yeah!

Just placed an order of a Sterling Ball Music Man : John Petrucci!

It'll be my first ever musicman, and It'll also be one step closer to the "dream" guitar (JPMM BFR / JPMM Mystic Dream)

I dont know if there are other people in my country who already has a Sterling Ball guitar, most of them are OLPs. SO probably I could also be the first or one of the first who has SBMM- JP50 in our country (Philippines)

I cant waaaaaaaaaaaaaaait!

Hey redelon, welcome to the boards!

A lot of folks here have test driven the SBMM JP50 and have had nothing but fabulous things to say about it!

Where you from?

Thanks for the welcome,

Im from the Philippines.
yeah actually since there are no Sterlings being sold here in my country,
I really did some research about the guitar, and I've been reading these forums since last week, looking for topics about the Sterling JP-50

the reviews here are very detailed, really help out a lot,
heck look at what I did now,.. I ordered one! haha. It'll be my first musicman,

I've been using Ibanez for quite some time, i guess its time for a change.

Red,

You are going to "absolutely" love that guitar!!! That "action" is going to melt in your hand!

There's just something about MM guitars.

Welcome Red! you'll love the guitar, no doubt.

just reading all your comments really excites me..
I still have to wait for at least 2 to 3 weeks before it'll arrive here in Manila,

definitely worth the wait!

thanks for all those who welcomed me..

BTW,
I do have some questions though,

- I've heard and read that the toggle switch has some issues, for those who have tested it, how was it?

- What pickup configurations are there in the 3 way toggle switch?
I do read that in the mid position you get the 2 center coils, just like on JP's which produces a strat like, quacky tone.. is it true then?

thanks a bunch guys!
now Im off to save a bit more and get some Dimarzios on it.

Welcome to your new family. I’m sure the JP50 is built with the same quality as my AX40. Your going to love it.
