I am a new Ernie Ball/Music Man owner and also new to the forum. I recently had posted a thread and was told that they aren't real if I don't post any pics. So here they are, please let me know it they aren't able to be viewed. Hopefully I can add another one in the near future(Tobacco Burst Axis?)

Hey Radrock, I know, originally I was hoping that the decals weren't permanent. However, they are in the finish. Black and red are my favorite colors. I would love to have one identical to this without the logos. I thought about calling EBMM to see if the would refinish the top, but with this only being one of 4 made I don't think it would be a could call. I don't even know if they offer that service or not?

Nice guitar and it is a collector ! If only 4 were made, well don't touch it ! Keep it like this, it could be a good investment. Besides, you have a very original guitar so nobody will say you are an imitator ...

Where'd you hear 4? According to Casey Ball there were only 2 made, yours and mine. :D

1 was hanging in SLO and the others here in Massachusetts.

This is the 1 in SLO:

Hey Glenn, I guess that is good news for us.... Do you play yours? Could you send me a picture of yours? [email protected] I would like to check it out..the one in the picture doesn't look like it has any logos? Could you forward a picture of that one too? Just curious I would like to see them. Thanks, Greg

I'm pretty sure MM doesn't do any refinishing. Who cares how many there are, I'd have it refinished if it allowed me to take it in public. The red binding is the kicker. I wish they would sell those with an ebony fretboard and black hardware on it. Maybe green/black or purple/black combo. That would rule the free world.

Still a cool guitar nonetheless.

GWDavis28 and whatthefetch have stickers on their Balls ... This forum is really a special place !

Nope sorry no sticker on my wifes. Yah she plays it, but only ever once and a while, she's a bass player for the most part.

Though she's got some tab books that she's getting ready to give a whirl.

I dont Know Glenn your wifes is glossy and his is or at least looks to me to be flat and those were made specifically for the tour so maybe there is 4 flat black ones with the stickers and 2 of your shiny ones the one at the office and your wifes?
does that make sence? hahaha

Casey told me at the Open House last year when we were all hanging around the Firestone for lunch. He told me that they made 2 for the Battle of the Bands, but decided not to use them for it in the end and auctioned it off as part of the CLB "Casey Lee Ball" Kidney Foudation, great work of the Ball family.

BP, are you guys gonna update the CLB website too? Anything new coming up for auction? How about a Strato Blue Silo, Piezo, Hardtail and non-matching head stock? I'd be all over that!!!

The guitar came into our possesion in the last 5 minutes or so of the auction Twan was the high bidder, my wife thought it would be a good idea to bump up the amout, not knowing that we had bumped Twan out as the winner and my wife became the proud owner of her first ball.
