Though it was hard, one person shined brighter then the rest and his playing best matches Sanjaya's singing.

The evening was successful.

The winner has decided to leave his current band and tour with Sanjaya.

I thought Joe Perry really sucked on the finale. Maybe he should tour with Bette Midler, who sounded totally wasted.

Loathed though I am to admit to even having watched the show, I totally agree. They both sucked in fine style!

I'm not embarrassed to say I watch it quite regularly. There's some talented contestants, and the house band is amazing, imo. Simon's a kick! Love his candor.

That said, I couldn't believe they allowed Midler on the stage. But what could they do, I 'spose. Maybe they just ran too tight of time on rehearsals. Uff...
