A few weeks ago I had an awesome guitar week. I sold one, traded for one and bought 2 of them.

I traded my JP6 PDN for this JPXI-7. It has a Liquifire in the neck and a D-Act In the bridge. I really like the way the d-act sounds in this guitar. Wayy better than the Crunch Lab. This is my 2nd BFR, being that my JPX was my first. THe JPXI has a little beefer tone being that it isnt chambered. The cleans on the JPXI arent that great on the neck pickup but sound awesome in the middle position with the coil tap on the tone knob engaged. It has that classic "Petrucci Clean" that the JP6's have in the middle position. Overal this guitar is a beast.

Looks really cool with the white Pup's
Which PDN did you have? I think my next Mod is going to be changing the Pickups in my '12 PDN JP7 the CL/LF sound a bit muddy with the Mahagony Roasted Maple Combo

I had a Honeyburst JP6 with a BFR mahogany neck. I had a BKP nailbomb in it and it sounded great. I like the LF I just dont care for the CL.
